Testimonials

Dear Doctor Broughton,

Thank you very much for the Vertebral Distraction Pumps. They are the most useful addition to my practice in 10 years. There are many patients that I had not been able to help any other way that are either fully recovered or greatly improved. I had been comfortable with my skills and abilities and even so, this has given me a new level of confidence.

Dear Doctor Broughton,

As with most Doctors of Chiropractic, I was having difficulty managing disc lesions and chronic facet syndrome. Using the Vertebral Distraction Pump (VDP) has not only allowed me to effectively treat these conditions, but has given me the confidence to look forward to seeing more of these cases in the future. The VDP, in my opinion, is a breakthrough for our profession and I have highly recommended it to my fellow practitioners.

Also, from a woman’s point of view, with smaller wrists than my male colleagues, I have found that the VDP was very easy to use, putting no excess pressure on my arms and wrists.

Hi Folks,

I love this product. I use it not only for acute disc injury but old chronic (near fusion) disc injuries prior to adjustment. I get better motion and the patient gets less pain and quicker recovery.

Dear Dr. Broughton,

My gratitude to you for having designed such a terrifically helpful instrument. I find ion the average my patient are getting better 40% sooner than they used to when I was using my old pressure point contact s on ligamentous tissues. The vertebral Distraction Pump has made a major difference. Not only in my ability to handle critical cases like disc protrusions and early disc herniations but in any aspect of the vertebral subluxation complex in which there is a ligamentous component involved. I use the instrument bilaterally and as the indications occur, unilaterally with only two prongs in contact on the same side of the vertebral structure.

The instrument should be in every Chiropractor’s office whenever he practices because the vertebral subluxation complex not only has an articular and myofascial compononent but a very significant ligamentous component. Any Chiropractor using it will see the difference when it is properly used.

I know times you must feel like a voice crying in the wilderness when you are trying to increase the utilization of this instrument but I know that in due time, every Chiropractor in the country will want to have one in his office for his personal use.

(Letter from Associate Clinic Director at the New York Chiropractic College)

I just wanted to take a minute to write to you and thank you for the Vertebral Distraction Pumps you sent to me, and to the clinic department of the New York Chiropractic College. I use mine regularly in my private practice in conjunction with my other therapies, and the combination of treatments has resulted in a very high degree of success in the care of the disc cases I see.

You and your associates are to be commended for your foresight and vision for offering the profession such an effective instrument. I know they have become a very valuable part of my practice and I would imagine the set you’ve donated to the New York Chiropractic College on site will be very valuable as well.

To Bray:

My sincere appreciation for the cervical and lumbar distractor device is beyond measure. This adjustment device is the greatest modern chiropractic technique to arrive on the scene since the activator. My cervical and lumbar patients are getting well at a remarkable rate. Every chiropractor should have your distractor devices.

My hat is off to your company for your fine service to the chiropractic patient.

Dear Fellow Entrepreneur,

I have been in practice for 16 years and have used a variety of method to treat discs. I have gotten good results with the Cox method of traction, but the use of your invention or tool has improved the response time noticeably. And it is so much more portable than the Cox table! I very much appreciate your ingenuity in creating that device.

Let me also say how much I appreciate the way in which you handle the marketing of the disc pump. It was very generous and trusting of you to allow a trial period. I thought the video was very helpful as well. I really like the grass roots approach you have taken!

Although I don’t have well documented cases in terms of length of treatment correlated with severity of condition, age of patient compliance, etc. I feel the disc pump has been a great tool added to my treatment protocols.

Sincerely,
Rebecca Brinkman, D.C.

Dear Doctor Broughton,

It has been my pleasure to have the privilege of utilizing the VDP instruments.

All that we discussed most certainly has been fulfilled. The average number of treatments for lumbar disc involvement to show corrective change has been approximately six to eight. In the cervical spine region, the number of average visits has been approximately four to five to demonstrate change.

I found, during the course of treatment utilizing your protocol, other benefits have been arrived at. Most certainly the device has been used for vertebral distraction. Also a benefit has been derived whereby severe muscle spasm has responded with utilization of the VDP by placing such in the belly of the spastic muscle and allowing for separation to be realized approximately three applications of five seconds each. Such allows for a hyper stretching of the muscle, with a relaxation, effect thereafter, and a diminishment in the lactic acid accumulation.

Your device has also been utilized in one case of severe spinal 12th thoracic vertebral collapse with the accompanying superior and inferior disc compression. In this particular case, the patient was unable to receive any form of therapy other than rest. With utilization of the VDP device, a separation was realized of the two involved discs, with also a passive tractioning effect applied to the involved vertebra. Prior to this, no treatment could be rendered in this particular injury, other than a wait and see attitude. The VPD now presents an area in the orthopedic world, whereby relief can be provided for this type of injury. Treatment consisted of four times weekly application of three distraction applications consisting of 15 seconds each. This program was utilized for four weeks. This tool was also utilized in severe intercostal neuritis whereby adjacent ribs spastically came together through faulty body mechanics. Also with the use of the VDP a distraction effect was allowed for relaxation of the spastic intercostal muscles.

I wholeheartedly endorse the VDP as a new innovative adjunct to the health practitioner. Its usage is non-traumatic to the patient, and the benefits therefrom demonstrated within a matter a three to eight applications. The protocol that you have presented, most certainly must be adhered to strictly, including that of electro-stimulation when needed. Proper positioning of the patient is most important to allow for the desired result. Your VDP has been utilized for over 2000 adjustments within my office, and the results have been most satisfying to the patient, in rapidity, recovery, and to myself in allowing for further success ratio and further referrals.

Dr. Broughton:
It doesn’t get much better than this!

“Thanks Dr. Anderson, you are a lifesaver.”

“I spent 4 months without any success in Physical Therapy. I was taking 3000 mg of Ibuprofen daily and couldn’t walk for more than 10 feet without doubling over in pain…

I couldn’t stand it anymore, had an MRI and was diagnosed with a severe herniated disc. My lower back would lock up and I experienced numbness down my left leg. The pain kept me from living my normal active life…Life became going to work in the day, and then going home at night lying flat on the floor…After consulting a specialist who recommended surgery, I looked into my options. I was thinking about surgery or at a minimum cortisone shot, but I was relieved when I found Dr. Gregg Anderson.

Within 2 weeks with Dr. Anderson, and using the VDP, I was back feeling great. I am back to playing basketball, working out, skiing and doing all the activities I could not do before.

For any skeptical patients, who might be hesitant to try anything new, take the chance. I am a believer through personal experience and have resumed an active lifestyle without surgery or pain management shots.”
